One way to identify dividend growth stocks is to look for dividend increases. Companies that pay rising dividends are likely to be financially healthy and generate consistent cash flow. I am interested in stocks with at least ten consecutive years of increasing annual regular dividend payments. Here is a list of such companies that increased their dividends last week.
Franklin Resources (NYSE:BEN), +15.0% dividend increase
Franklin Resources has declared quarterly dividend of $0.230 (+15.000% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Dec-22-2017 and is payable on Jan-10-2018. Annualized dividend is $0.92 at a yield of 2.084%.
ABM Industries (NYSE:ABM), +2.941% dividend increase
ABM Industries has declared quarterly dividend of $0.175 (+2.941% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Jan-03-2018 and is payable on Feb-05-2018. Annualized dividend is $0.70 at a yield of 1.597%.
CenterPoint Energy (NYSE:CNP), +3.738% dividend increase
CenterPoint Energy has declared quarterly dividend of $0.278 (+3.738% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Feb-14-2018 and is payable on Mar-08-2018. Annualized dividend is $1.11 at a yield of 3.908%.
Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT), +5.66% dividend increase
Abbott Laboratories has declared quarterly dividend of $0.280 (+5.660% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Jan-11-2018 and is payable on Feb-15-2018. Annualized dividend is $1.12 at a yield of 2.046%.
AT&T (NYSE:T), +2.041% dividend increase
AT&T has declared quarterly dividend of $0.500 (+2.041% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Jan-09-2018 and is payable on Feb-01-2018. Annualized dividend is $2.00 at a yield of 5.299%.
Urstadt Biddle Properties (NYSE:UBA), +1.887% dividend increase
Urstadt Biddle Properties has declared quarterly dividend of $0.270 (+1.887% increase). It goes ex-dividend on Jan-04-2018 and is payable on Jan-19-2018. Annualized dividend is $1.08 at a yield of 4.756%.

ReplyDeleteHa Ha not fast enough. Some of our fellow blogger get to it ahead of me. I have not come across a single source which has all the dividend increases. I go through multiple sources ... mostly through google search. I need to add some websites seem to carry erroneous information (especially for Canadian stocks).
